Office Christmas

I’ve been watching a lot of reruns of “The Office” and I just watched a Christmas episode where they do the Yankee Swap/Secret Santa.

Michael got a handmade gift, specifically a knitted oven mitt by Phyllis and I thought to myself, “That’s awesome. Probably not very safe, but still great.”

That got me thinking that I haven’t gotten a handmade gift for Christmas, ever. Minus my best friend who knitted me two hats for helping with her boyfriend’s gift and my father’s mother apparently knitted me a quilt for when I was an infant, but I’ve never used it… Not sure why, just never have.

I’m really hoping that next Christmas I get something handmade and from the heart because I am going on Pinterest to get some ideas.
